Career: Quality Assurance Tech

The QA Tech will perform testing of manufactured products to certify quality and adherence to specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

Monitor existing food safety, sanitation, and environmental programs production line checks

Sensory testing of ingredients and finished products, using minimal instrumentation.

Conduct inspections of all produce for quality and condition and enter the results of these inspections onto data sheets for generation of weekly quality reports

Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state health and safety regulations and ensure necessary records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines.

Responsible for reviewing and verifying Quality records according to procedures and policies.

Monitor processing environment, ensure product meets specification

Maintain proper written records

Enforce GMPs

Skills Required: Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Ability to work in a team environment. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, computer skills and experience with Excel spreadsheets and data entry. Must pass basic reading, writing, and math proficiency test.

Minimum Qualifications: Must complete and obtain certifications in all required training as determined by the company. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Must know MSDS information regarding all materials used within the scope of the work. High School or GED required.

Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, or other related field. Bi-lingual skills are a plus. Previous experience in QA preferred.
